Practicing the same painting on a much larger canvas.

This is an uber fail; I didn't put enough crimson on the canvas before I started the painting which makes it not as smooth as it's supposed to be.

The two inch brush is still really clumsy in my already clumsy hand, learning to use has been one of the bigger challenges, even bigger than the palette knife.

Onward and upward then. ^_^

I really like the colours in this one. The evening sky, the reflection on the water. A nice mood over it all.

I don't see how this is a fail. I like it.
This picture has a beautiful sunset, the yellow, purple and pink clouds at to that. I've seen a few sunsets like the on depicted a few times. I love it when the clouds are all different colors. ^__^. All it needs now is some guy fishing in the river.

It's a fail because at the top of the canvas the paint didn't really stick and left some of the plain black showing. :-\

That's what practice is for, though.
