This was to practice the 'faded mountains' or mountains without much detail and no snow.

The only thing I managed to do correctly on this was applying the liquid white. Finally got it on there the way it's supposed to be and I crap out on the composition.

Oh, well, that's what practice is for.

My mom had a painting somewhat like this one, except the one she had was a snowy mountain side over looking a lake, surrounded by a forest. I don't know what happened to that painting, but it was my favorite picture in the house.

I love this painting, espshally the soft pink colors (Pinkish from my POV). It gives this picture a sunrise feel to it, it also has that cool crisp "I'm gonna need a thin jacket." morning feel. The red leaves on the trees closest to us gives it a nice touch as well, and makes me wonder if this is a morning in early autumn. ^_^.
